Job summary

Upham Inns is seeking a Chef de Partie who loves cooking with fresh ingredients and wants to grow. You’ll own your section, work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef, and help the team deliver high-quality dishes during busy services.

This role offers up to £13.00 per hour plus a share of tronc, flexible shifts, and a clear development pathway toward Head Chef, with discounts on meals and accommodation, plus lifestyle perks and rewards for service.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Chef de Partie or similar kitchen role.
• Enjoy preparing high-quality, fresh food and care about the details.
• Can confidently run a section and stay organised during a busy service.
• Bring a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and great team spirit.
• Enjoy helping others develop and are ready to build your own leadership skills.
• Have the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Owning your section, keeping it organised, well prepared and ready for service.
• Cooking fresh food with pride, following recipes and delivering consistently great presentation.
• Working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
• Supporting junior chefs, sharing your knowledge and setting a positive example.
• Keeping standards high, following food safety, allergen, hygiene and health and safety procedures.
• Building your skills through training and making the most of opportunities to develop.
