Job summary

Upham Inns is recruiting for a kitchen role across its Southern England pubs. You will be expected to run a section, assist the Head Chef, and lead junior staff while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

The package includes up to £13.00 per hour plus a share of Tronc, generous meal discounts for you and up to 6 guests, and a clear pathway to Head Chef through a development program. A lifestyle card with thousands of discounts is also included.

Qualifications

• Experience in similar level position with leadership aptitude.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Ability to maintain high standards in a busy kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Run a kitchen section and maintain high standards at all times.
• Assist Head Chef/Sous Chef in smooth kitchen operation.
• Set an example and guide junior chefs.
• Complete all training in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health and safety, licensing and employment laws.
