Job summary

Dakota Hospitality Limited (Dakota Hotels) in Manchester is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our Kitchen Team. The role offers a permanent contract with full-time hours (minimum 32 per week) and a competitive hourly earnings package including tronc.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of professional cooking experience in a full-service restaurant, with the ability to prep fish and meats and work across multiple kitchen sections. Health & Safety training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years professional cooking experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Experience and ability to handle fish and meats prep.
• Passion for quality food and preparation.
• Flexible with shift patterns and team-focused.

Responsibilities

• Be confident managing a busy service and run at least two kitchen sections.
• Prepare and cook dishes per Head Chef specifications across menus.
• Carry out prep work maintaining knife skills.
• Multi-task and work through busy service times.
• Keep the kitchen clean and maintain an immaculate environment.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
• Adhere to Health & Safety and Food Hygiene standards.
• Learn and support across kitchen areas.
