Dakota Hotels in Manchester is seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join our Kitchen Team. The role offers an hourly rate of £15.30, including a basic rate and troncs, with troncs described as variable and non-contractual.

You will work across multiple kitchen sections, deliver high-quality dishes, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards while supporting the team and learning across areas.

Qualifications

• Two years of professional cooking experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Ability to prep fish and meats to spec and maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene.
• Demonstrates passion for quality food and strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn and support across kitchen areas.
• Health & Safety, Allergens and Food Hygiene training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Run at least two kitchen sections during busy service.
• Prepare and cook dishes according to Head Chef specifications across menus.
• Carry out prep work and maintain knife skills.
• Multi-task during busy service times.
• Clean down the kitchen and keep a hygienic environment.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
• Adhere to Health & Safety and Food Hygiene standards.
• Be flexible to learn across kitchen areas.
