Job summary

Dakota Hotels is seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join the Manchester kitchen team. The role offers £15.30 per hour (basic £12.71 plus tron) with tron paid on top. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of full-service restaurant cooking experience and be capable of running two sections during service.

The position requires a passion for quality food, reliability, and teamwork. Training in safety and hygiene is provided, and a positive, proactive attitude is valued within our Dakota

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years professional cooking experience in a full-service restaurant as a Commis Chef or Demi Chef.
• Experience with preparing fish and meats.
• Passion for quality food and preparation.
• Hardworking and team-player.
• Training available in Health & Safety, Allergens and Food Hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Run at least two kitchen sections in a busy service.
• Prepare and cook dishes to Head Chef specifications for all menus.
• Carry out prep work across kitchen sections with strong knife skills.
• Multi-task and manage busy service times.
• Conduct a full kitchen clean-down and maintain a clean working environment.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
• Adhere to Health & Safety and Food Hygiene legislation.
• Be willing to support across different areas of the Kitchen.
