Job summary

The Lowry Hotel, Manchester's iconic five-star hotel, is seeking a Chef de Partie to join a busy, quality kitchen. You will report to the Executive Chef, mentor Demi/Commis Chefs, and manage your section in the absence of the Senior Team, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation.

Flexibility to work on a shift basis including weekends is essential. We offer training and development opportunities, plus uniforms and meals on duty, staff discounts, and access to Flow training

Qualifications

• Fully qualified with Level 2/3 in food preparation.
• Experience running a section in a kitchen.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP desirable.
• Experience in managing storage and stock rotation desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present menus to established standards.
• Mentor Demi/Commis Chefs and support Sous Chefs.
• Ensure smooth running of your section in the absence of seniors.
• Work on shifts including weekends and early/late hours.
