The Falmouth Hotel is seeking a passionate Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. You will own your section, maintain high standards of taste, presentation and cleanliness, and support the wider brigade.

We value fresh seasonal ingredients, a proactive attitude and flexibility to work evenings and weekends. The role offers training and opportunities to progress across our four Cornwall hotels.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to step up.
• Passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients and high-quality food.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure.
• A positive, proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the preparation and service of your designated section.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standard.
• Maintain excellent hygiene, cleanliness and food safety practices at all times.
• Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in delivering smooth and efficient service.
• Assist with stock control, ordering and minimising wastage.
• Support and guide Commis Chefs and junior team members.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
