Job summary

Villiers Hotel Buckingham is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our busy kitchen team. You’ll take ownership of your section, prep and deliver dishes to a high standard, while maintaining hygiene and safety guidelines. You’ll work alongside the Head Chef and team to ensure memorable dining experiences for our guests.

The role offers a competitive hourly rate up to £12.82 and opportunities to develop culinary skills in a historic, 18th Century hotel setting in Buckingham.

Qualifications

• Experience as Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen role.
• Passion for food and delivering quality.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for your own section, ensuring dishes are prepared and presented to high standards.
• Prepare, cook and deliver dishes per menus and guidelines.
• Ensure food is delicious, well-presented and served timely.
• Support Head Chef and Sous Chef with day-to-day kitchen operations.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, cleanliness and organisation.
• Monitor stock levels and minimise waste; store ingredients correctly.
• Support and develop junior kitchen team members.
• Contribute ideas for menu development and seasonal specials.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver excellent guest experiences.
