Active Hospitality is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. You will work alongside the Head Chef and the broader kitchen crew to deliver high-quality dishes and memorable dining experiences for guests.

You will take responsibility for your own section, prepare and present dishes to the highest standards, and maintain rigorous food hygiene and safety practices in a busy environment. A supportive team and opportunities for development are offered.

Qualificações

• Previous experience as Chef de Partie or similar role.
• Genuine passion for food and delivering quality.
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Excellent organisation, time management and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Take responsibility for your own section of the kitchen and ensure dishes meet high standards.
• Prepare, cook and present dishes according to menus, recipes and guidelines.
• Ensure food is consistently delicious, well-presented and served promptly.
• Support Head Chef and Sous Chef with day-to-day kitchen operations.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, health and safety, cleanliness and organisation.
• Monitor stock levels, minimise waste and store ingredients correctly.
• Support and develop junior kitchen team members as required.
• Contribute ideas for menu development and seasonal updates.
• Collaborate with the wider team to deliver an excellent guest experience.

We are looking for a talented, motivated and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. Working alongside our Head Chef and wider kitchen team, you will play an important role in delivering excellent food and memorable dining experiences for our guests, maintaining consistently high standards across all areas of the kitchen.

What will you be doing?

• Taking responsibility for your own section of the kitchen, ensuring all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards.
• Preparing, cooking and delivering dishes in line with our menus, recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Ensuring food is consistently delicious, well-presented and served in a timely manner.
• Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef with the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen.
• Maintaining excellent standards of food hygiene, health and safety, cleanliness and organisation.
• Monitoring stock levels, minimising waste and ensuring ingredients are stored correctly.
• Supporting and developing junior members of the kitchen team where required.
• Contributing ideas for menu development, seasonal specials and improvements to our food offering.
• Working collaboratively with the wider team to ensure an excellent guest experience.

Previous experience and key qualities

• Previous experience working as a Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen role.
• A genuine passion for food, cooking and delivering quality.
• Good knowledge of food hygiene, health and safety standards.
• The ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organisation, time management and attention to detail.
• A positive, flexible and team-focused attitude.
• A willingness to learn, develop and contribute to the success of the kitchen.
• Relevant catering qualifications would be advantageous, although practical experience and the right attitude are equally valued.
