Job summary

The Mitre, Shaftesbury, part of Young's Pubs, is seeking a Chef de Partie to produce quality fresh food in a welcoming environment. You will work under the Head Chef to help design and deliver menus and daily specials, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

You will demonstrate a passion for cooking, strong teamwork, and a proactive approach to driving sales and guest satisfaction through excellent service.

Qualifications

• Fast-paced kitchen experience delivering quality food.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and practices.
• Ability to prepare fresh dishes with accuracy and speed.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on Chef de Partie/kitchen supervisor ensuring food quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with Head Chef to design and deliver new dishes and daily specials.
• Demonstrate strong planning and organisational skills for GP and labour control.
• Drive sales and growth through engagement with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
• Communicate effectively within the team to maintain high service standards.
