Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Commis Chef or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation – prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards; ensure food safety at all times.
• Station Management – oversee production for your station and maintain cleanliness and supplies.
• Quality Control – maintain high quality, presentation and taste of dishes.
• Team Collaboration – communicate effectively with the team and support colleagues.
• Menu Development – collaborate with head chef to develop and taste new recipes.
• Cleaning and Maintenance – keep designated area clean and ensure equipment is in good order.
