Job summary

The Park, a 44-bedroom hotel with a vibrant bar and restaurant, is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. You will work across breakfast, brunch and à la carte menus, delivering classic British food with pride.

You will develop under Head Chef, contribute new dishes, and help drive service, quality and cost controls in a busy, welcoming environment within Young's Pubs. We offer training opportunities, staff meals, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to step up.
• Committed to producing quality fresh food and maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities

• Have experience championing excellent service through quality food.
• Demonstrate a passion to deliver fantastic food every time.
• Be an active hands-on Chef de Partie / Kitchen Supervisor
• Show willingness to learn new skills and be a strong team player.
• Collaborate with Head Chef to design and deliver new dishes and daily specials
• Maintain GP and labour controls with solid planning and organisation.

Looking for a passionate chef that wants to develop and hopefully be a future Head chef within our company.

The Park is a stunning 44 bedroom Hotel, with an amazing bar/restaurant to add.

The kitchen serves a mix of breakfast, Brunch and A la carte.

Providing a range a British classics and other mouth watering starters and mains.

Lots of fresh food and already a solid team in place.

What we look for in a Chef de Partie:

We are looking for an existing Chef de Partie or an excellent Commis Chef looking for their next step, who considers themselves to have a passion and flare for producing quality fresh food in an environment that makes people feel welcome. As the successful Chef de Partie you will:

• Have experience championing excellent service through quality food


• Demonstrate a passion to deliver fantastic food every time


• Be an active hands-on Chef de Partie / Kitchen Supervisor


• Show willingness to learn new skills, be an active team player with excellent communication skills


• Working alongside your Head Chef, you will be able to demonstrate your creativity and ability by helping to design and deliver new dishes for our menus and daily specials


• Demonstrate great planning and organisational skills, necessary to maintain effective controls with regard to both GP and labour


• Have a pro-active approach to driving sales and delivering growth, through engagement with both kitchen and front of house teams
