Delta Hotels by Marriott Swansea is seeking a dedicated kitchen professional to join our team. You will prepare and cook high-quality dishes, manage a specific station, and mentor junior staff in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food to high quality standards.
• Manage a specific kitchen section (grill, sauté, or pastry).
• Supervise junior chefs and commis with guidance and training.
• Ensure cleanliness and organisation in your designated kitchen area.
• Monitor food quality and ensure dishes are cooked to order and served on time.
• Assist with menu planning and development for innovative offerings.
• Order and manage inventory for your section and ensure stock levels.
• Maintain effective communication with other kitchen staff for smooth operations.
• Follow food safety and sanitation practices to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment and report malfunctions.
