Your role as Chef de Partie

We are looking for a Chef de Partie who is highly self-motivated, has a great attitude to learning, and is committed to delivering exceptional standards of food, cleanliness, and hygiene. You will be ambitious, always seeking to build on your experience and striving for the perfect end result.

Your main duties include:

  • Accountability for food safety and hygiene within your kitchen areas
  • Training and coaching junior kitchen staff, ensuring proper storage, rotation, and disposal of food
  • Input to menu development as required
  • Preparing fresh foods to an exemplary standard daily
  • Managing portion control and raw ingredients to achieve food margins
  • Stocking shelves, ensuring proper storage at correct temperatures, and stock rotation
  • Following all health & safety directives in food preparation

At the start of employment, you will complete online training modules, including Health and Safety and Food Hygiene, to better prepare you for the role and earn recognized certificates. You will also receive a comprehensive induction and on-the-job training from experienced team members to help you excel in your role.

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum 1 year’s experience in a kitchen environment
  • A methodical, calm, and organized approach to work under pressure
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
  • Level 2 in Food Safety in Catering or equivalent
