At the centre of our F&B offering is Lock 84 – our stylish, ever-evolving restaurant and bar, specialising in small plates and relaxed dining. All menus are designed in-house by our team, allowing for seasonal creativity, chef-led input, and a menu that never stands still.
The Role
We’re looking for a Chef de Partie to join our growing kitchen team at Lock 84. In this role, you’ll take charge of your section and be instrumental in delivering bold, beautifully executed dishes that align with our small plates concept. With menus that evolve regularly, there’s real scope to contribute ideas, try new things, and develop as part of a supportive, ambitious team.
What You’ll Be Doing
Leading your section in the preparation and service of high-quality small plates
Contributing to menu development through collaboration and creativity
Ensuring consistency and quality in presentation, taste, and delivery
Maintaining strong kitchen hygiene and organisation at all times
Supporting with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
Working closely with the Head Chef and wider team to elevate the guest experience
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie, or a strong Commis ready for the next step
Passion for seasonal, flavour-driven food and small plates concepts
Culinary qualifications and a strong understanding of food hygiene
Excellent knife skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive under pressure
A team player with a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn
Flexibility and creativity – our menus change, and we like chefs who enjoy change too
