Job summary

Novotel London Blackfriars is seeking a full-time Chef De Partie to join our kitchen team. You will run your designated section, manage prep and stock, and help deliver high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a competitive annual salary of £32,448 plus service charge, pension, staff discounts, and opportunities for training and development within the Accor network.

Responsibilities

• Run and supervise the designated kitchen section to the Head Chef's standards.
• Ensure preparation of the designated section is complete for each service.
• Maintain stock and waste control.
• Be responsible for quality control of stock and prepared foods.
• Execute cooking to a high standard quickly and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the section.
• Support Head Chef & Sous Chef to deliver required standards of food.
• Delegate tasks to junior chefs and apprentices and support their development.
• Maintain a positive, proactive attitude and seek to improve skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Head Chef and management.
• Ensure guests and non-residents enjoy the best possible experience.

Job Description

We are looking for a full-time Chef De Partie to work at MAM London, part of Novotel London Blackfriars. You will play a pivotal role in our kitchen working alongside a fantastic team. We are looking for someone who is fully flexible with shifts.

What you will be doing:

• To run and supervise any kitchen section to the required standards set by the Head Chef
• To ensure all preparation of the designated section is complete and ready for each service
• Ensure good stock and waste control is practised
• Be responsible for the quality control of stock and prepared foods
• Execute cooking to the expected high standard quickly and efficiently
• Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of designated section
• Support Head Chef & Sous Chef in delivering required standard of food
• Appropriately delegate jobs to junior chefs and apprentices and support them in their development
• Maintain a positive and proactive attitude at all times and seek to improve and advance your skill set and performance
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef and management
• Seek to ensure that all hotel guests and non-residents enjoy the best experience possible
