Job summary

Interaction Recruitment are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and trustworthy Kitchen Assistant to join our clients team on a permanent night shift.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 18:00 PM – 02:00 AM. Responsibilities include reheating and preparing food, serving customers, maintaining hygiene, and working as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly, professional, and customer-focused.
• Comfortable with late evening and early morning hours.
• Able to work independently when required.
• Previous kitchen, catering, or hospitality experience is preferred but not essential.

18:00 PM - 2:00 AM

Pay

£16.00per hour

About the Role

• Reheating and preparing food to a high standard.
• Serving food quickly and professionally.
• Operating the till and handling customer transactions.
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness.
• Washing up throughout the shift.
• Cleaning and closing down the kitchen at the end of the evening.
• Keeping work areas organised, stocked, and ready for service.
• Working efficiently as part of a team while following food safety procedures.

The role is generally carried out by two people, which allows us to maintain good working practices, provide mutual support, and ensure staff safety during late-night shifts. On rare occasions, due to unexpected staff absence, you may be required to work independently, so confidence, initiative, and reliability are important.
