Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Chef, preferably within a care home or similar environment.
  • Enhanced DBS (With update service) is a must.
  • Knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements for elderly or vulnerable individuals.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.

Overview

We are a dedicated care home committed to providing high-quality care and support to our residents. As part of our services, we deliver nutritious, balanced, and freshly prepared meals daily. We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team.


Responsibilities


  • Prepare, cook, and serve meals to residents in line with dietary requirements and preferences.

  • Develop varied and nutritious menus, considering medical, cultural, and personal needs.

  • Ensure high standards of food hygiene and kitchen safety are maintained at all times.

  • Manage stock levels, order supplies, and minimise food waste.

  • Supervise and guide kitchen assistants or other staff members when required.

  • Work in compliance with food safety, health, and safety regulations.

  • Liaise with care staff to ensure residents\' dietary needs are met.


Qualifications
