Job summary

Chartwells is seeking an ambitious Chef to join our team on a full-time basis, contracted to 37.5 hours per week. You will prepare and serve high-quality food, lead a kitchen team, and help maintain exceptional standards across multiple venues within Compass Group UK&I.

We value passion for great tasting food, strong customer service, and a flexible approach. This role includes opportunities to develop menus and contribute to innovative concepts across our sites.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a team.
• Experience in a similar Chef role.
• Knowledge of hygiene and safety regulations.
• Passion for great-tasting food and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers.
• Overseeing and implementing menu changes.
• Identifying opportunities to improve our food services.
• Listening and acting on customer feedback to consistently improve our food services.
• Supporting with the creation of new menus and creative food concepts.
• Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Monitoring inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked.
• Overseeing kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards.
• Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.
