Job summary

Chartwells is recruiting a Chef to join our UK education catering team, contracted to 35 hours per week across Mon-Fri, and 43.8 weeks per year. You will prepare and serve high-quality meals for pupils and staff, ensuring compliance with hygiene standards and brand guidelines.

As a Chef you will lead a kitchen team, contribute to menu changes, and seize opportunities to enhance our food service offering within Compass Group UK&I.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious, high-quality food for clients and customers.
• Oversee and implement menu changes.
• Identify opportunities to improve food services.
• Listen to customer feedback to improve services.
• Support creation of new menus and concepts.
• Represent Chartwells and maintain brand image.
• Monitor inventories to keep kitchens stocked.
• Oversee kitchen hygiene and cleaning.
• Ensure compliance with Food Hygiene regulations.
