OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a professional Chef to join our contract catering operation in Winchester. You will lead cooking at your station, ensuring high-quality dishes and timely service throughout the shift.

We value proven kitchen experience, Level 2 Catering and Hospitality, and strong teamwork with excellent communication. A focus on food safety and hygienic practices is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Chef in a contract catering environment.
• Level 2 Catering and Hospitality or equivalent.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day food preparation and duties at senior chefs' direction to meet standards.
• Manage the cooking process at your station for several dishes, ensuring timely delivery.
• Follow safety, hygiene, and proper use of utensils and equipment on site.
• Notify Senior Chefs when inventory is low and keep the kitchen stocked with fresh ingredients and catering necessities.
• Work with the culinary team to maintain high-quality food and service throughout the shift.
• Assist the lead chef with food prep and handling, including use of the till system.
