Job summary

Mayford Grange Retirement Village is seeking a Chef to join the team on a bank basis to cover sickness and holidays. You will manage kitchen operations, assist with food preparation, and help deliver high-quality meals to residents, while maintaining safety and hygiene standards.

Key duties include supervising staff during Head Chef days off, planning menus with dietary considerations, and monitoring inventory and food costs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef or similar role in a kitchen environment.
• Knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements for seniors is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Shifts will include some evening and weekends.
