Job summary

The Inn Collection Group invites aspiring chefs to join The Ripon Inn as part of its Chef Academy apprenticeship. You’ll gain real kitchen experience, participate in hands-on masterclasses, and learn from industry leaders while earning as you train.

With a nationally recognised Level 2 Commis Chef Apprenticeship, you’ll develop skills in butchery, bread-making, and fish preparation, supported by mentors and a structured learning plan across our award-winning pubs with rooms.

Qualifications

• Aspiring chef with a real love for food and cooking.
• Willing to learn, take feedback, and get stuck in.
• Able to travel to masterclasses as part of the programme.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily kitchen operations and prep under supervision.
• Take part in hands-on Masterclasses including butchery, bread making and fish prep.
• Work alongside professional chefs to build skills and confidence in a fast-paced kitchen.
