Job summary

The Broughton in Balterley, near Crewe, is seeking a Chef of all levels to join the team. You will work alongside the Head Chef and Sous Chef to run services, maintain high standards and start building leadership skills for a future Sous Chef role.

This is a part-time position (32 hours/week) with solid, regular hours and a supportive environment that values development, training, and commitment to great food and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as Chef de Partie or Junior Sous in a busy kitchen.
• Ability to work calmly, be organised and manage people.

Responsibilities

• Run sections and support the pass during busy services.
• Cook our menus to spec, every time.
• Help to train and support chefs and KPs.
• Get involved in ordering, stock and food safety.

Here's what we offer:

• Up to £14.00 per hour (Approx. £1,790 every 4-weeks or £23,300 pa)
• Shared Service charge (Avg. £5,820 pa)
• Total Potential Package = £29,120 per year
• Part time - 32 hours a week: solid, regular hours with a better work-life balance

The role

You'll work alongside your Head Chef and Sous Chef to run great services, keep standards high and start building the leadership skills to take your career further.
