Job summary

Adkins & Cheurfi Recruitment are recruiting experienced Chef de Parties to join the team at a major family holiday resort near Penrith.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and motivated Chef de Partie to play an important role within a busy kitchen environment. You'll be responsible for maintaining high food standards, supporting junior team members and helping ensure the smooth and efficient running of the kitchen.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' professional chef experience.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Own chef whites and professional knives.
• Full driving licence and access to own car due to location.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily food preparation and presentation in line with company standards.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene and presentation.
• Coach and support junior chefs, helping them develop their skills and confidence.
• Step up as deputy to the Assistant Kitchen Manager when required.
• Monitor stock levels, portion control and ordering to manage costs.
• Support initiatives to minimise food waste and improve kitchen efficiency.
• Work closely with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth service and operations.

Candidate Requirements

We're looking for chefs who are passionate about food, reliable and comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

You will need:

• At least 2 years' professional chef experience
• A valid Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
• Your own chef whites and professional knives
• A full driving licence and access to your own car due to the location

Salary & Benefits

• £15-£19 per hour, depending on experience
