JAM Recruitment Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a senior chef for temporary weekday shifts in school kitchens during term time, offering competitive pay, weekly payroll and weekends off.

You will plan and prepare nutritious meals for students and staff, manage stock, supervise kitchen assistants, ensure food safety standards, and have opportunities for ongoing placements or permanent roles.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience as a senior chef, preferably in a school or similar environment.
• Right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not available.
• Enhanced DBS with child workforce (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong, reliable, and excellent communication skills.
• Passion for providing healthy meals for children and young people.
• Minimum Level 2 Food Safety and Allergens, plus additional compliance training (provided free of charge).
