Job summary

Berkeley Scott is seeking a Chef for temporary roles across schools in Lancaster, working with Impact Food Group from September. The role offers weekday, term-time shifts with competitive pay and weekly wages.

You will prepare balanced meals, plan menus to meet dietary requirements, and maintain hygiene and safety standards. DBS checks and UK work eligibility are required, with potential for long-term placements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience as a senior Chef, preferably in a school or similar environment.
• Right to work in the UK; sponsorship not available.
• Enhanced DBS with child workforce or willingness to obtain it.
• Strong, reliable and excellent communication skills.
• Passion for providing healthy meals to children and young people.
• Minimum Level 2 Food Safety and Allergens training; additional compliance training will be provided free of charge.
