McMullen's is a long established, family-run business where guests come first and quality is paramount. We seek a Chef who will be respected, trained and encouraged to grow in confidence within our team.

Previous kitchen experience is essential; we offer in-house training and progression via our GROW programme, plus opportunities at our Development Kitchen in Hertford. We provide shift flexibility, weekly pay, and industry-relevant Apprenticeships to earn while you learn.

• Previous experience of working within a busy kitchen is essential.
• Further training and development will be given in house and in the Development Kitchen in Hertford.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving our menu to a high standard as per company specification.
• Maintaining food hygiene and health & safety standards within the business and completion of company paperwork.
• Receiving deliveries and maintaining the correct storage of food.
• Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

• Preparing and serving our menu to a high standard as per company specification to ensure our guests return again and again
• Maintaining food hygiene and health & safety standards within the business and completion of company paperwork with regards to such standards

• Maintaining and clean and safe kitchen environment The right person will have a positive, hands on approach, good communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
