Job summary

Haven on-park JD Wetherspoon is seeking a Chef to prepare and cook high-quality meals from our all-day menu. You will help deliver dishes that look and taste great, meeting our standards every time.

You’ll support the team, follow the Kitchen Manager guidance, and maintain a clean, compliant kitchen while emphasising food safety and teamwork. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts are required. Training and progression opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• Experience in a chef role (e.g. Commis Chef, Chef de Partie, or Sous Chef)
• Understanding of cooking methods, ingredients and kitchen equipment
• Enthusiastic team player with love for food and attention to detail
• Ability to stay calm and efficient in a busy kitchen environment
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to company standards.
• Support your team and follow the lead of the Kitchen Manager.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations.
