Job summary

Berkeley Scott is recruiting experienced chefs for the new school year, working with Impact Food Group across schools in the Exeter area.

Prepare and cook nutritious meals, plan menus, and ensure high standards of hygiene and safety. You will manage stock, supervise kitchen assistants, and adhere to all safety regulations. DBS check and UK work eligibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience as a senior chef, preferably in a school.
• Right to work in the UK; sponsorship not available.
• Enhanced DBS with child workforce or willingness to obtain is essential.
• Strong, reliable and excellent communication skills.
• Passion for providing healthy meals for children and young people.
• Minimum Level2 Food Safety and Allergens, plus additional compliance training (provided free).
