Job description

HC-One is seeking a Chef with the following qualifications:

• S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery
• Minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
• Understanding of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP)

About You

You should be organized, able to meet service times, thrive on autonomy, and follow recipes precisely. A passion for food and understanding the importance of good quality, home-cooked meals for residents are essential. Additionally, you should communicate considerately and kindly with residents and colleagues.

Safeguarding

Recognizing signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and knowing how to respond is vital. All staff must attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and be able to seek advice and escalate concerns as needed.
