Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Chef at RAF Halton, Wendover, Aylesbury, HP22 5PG. The role requires delivering culinary excellence for armed forces personnel. Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent kitchen experience required.
• Basic IT skills.
• Experience in menu production and input is desirable.

• Enthusiasm to develop and learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with running service, preparation, and other kitchen duties in a busy environment.
• Ensure adherence to EHO guidelines and systems.
• Work with Front of House to drive service excellence.
• Monitor sanitation practices to ensure standards are followed.
• Prepare, produce and present food to a high standard.

• 5 out of 7 days per week (Early shift starts from 05:00 - 13:30, and late shifts start from 11:00 - 19:30)

As a Chef at Sodexo at RAF Halton, Wendover, Aylesbury, HP22 5PG, you\'re ambitious about culinary excellence and we understand the true strength it takes to be a chef! You\'ll be providing this service for our armed forces personnel, improving their quality of life every day!

What you\'ll do:

• Assistance with running service/preparation/other duties of the busy working kitchen
• Ensuring strict adherence to all EHO guidelines and systems
• Working with the FOH team to drive the service excellence
• Monitor sanitation practices to ensure that employees follow standards and regulations
• Prepare, produce and present food to the highest standard

What you bring:

• NVQ lv 2/3 or a busy kitchen environment experience
• Basic IT skills
• Experience in menu production and confident input
• Exposure to bulk cooking
• The enthusiasm to develop and learn new skills
• Due to security requirements you must have been continuously resident in UK for last 3 years to apply for this position
