Job summary

Sodexo Group in High Wycombe is hiring a Chef to join the MOD catering team, preparing high-quality meals for military personnel in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

You will work across early, late shifts and weekends, maintain strict food safety standards, assist in bulk cooking, and support events and functions with professional service.

Qualifications

• NVQ lv 2/3 or a busy kitchen environment experience.
• Basic IT skills.
• Experience in menu production and confident input.
• Exposure to bulk cooking.
• The enthusiasm to develop and learn new skills.
• Due to security requirements you must have been continuously resident in UK for last 5 years to apply for this position.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, cooking, and service of meals in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene per EHO guidelines.
• Work with front-of-house to deliver outstanding service.
• Cook and serve meals to military personnel, maintaining high standards daily.
• Oversee kitchen sanitation and ensure best practices are followed.
• Be part of high-profile events and functions showcasing culinary skills.
• Take part in bulk cooking to ensure consistency and quality.

• 5 days out of 7 per week
• Early - 06:00 to 14:00
• Late - 12:00 to 20:00
• Weekend 07:00 to 19:00
