Job summary

B&Q Livingston is hiring a part-time Customer Advisor for Checkouts/Building. The 3-month fixed term contract includes shifts 7.00am–10.00pm, Monday to Sunday. The role pays £13.10 per hour and involves training in multiple areas and a focus on great customer service at tills.

You’ll work as part of a friendly team, handling sales, click & collect, and store displays to keep the store looking its best. This is a great way to gain experience in home improvement retail and customer care.

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing, enjoy helping customers.
• Able to learn new technology and processes.
• Willing to work a rota including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service at the checkouts.
• Assist with click & collect, setting up displays and store presentation.
• Support tills operations and upsell where appropriate.
• Be trained in various store areas to support the team.
