Job summary

B&Q Jersey is hiring a Checkouts Customer Advisor on a permanent part-time basis (20 hours per week), with shifts Monday to Sunday, 7.00am–10.00pm. You’ll be an expert advisor, handling till duties, click & collect and keeping displays neat.

The pay starts at £14.85 per hour (includes £2.14 location allowance) and rises to £15.24 from 1 April 2026. Jersey entitlement to work is required, and a supportive team environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing; enjoy helping others.
• Great at working in a team and supporting colleagues.
• Flexible to work weekends, evenings and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate tills, support sales and customer service at checkout.
• Assist with click & collect, display setup and store cleanliness.
• Be trained in various areas; deliver great customer service on the tills.
