B&Q Whitstable is hiring a part-time Customer Advisor at the checkouts on a 3-month fixed-term contract. Shifts cover Monday to Sunday, 7.00am to 10.00pm, with an hourly rate of £13.10.

The role focuses on delivering great customer service at the tills, assisting with click & collect, and maintaining a welcoming store appearance. You will work as part of a team, with training available across areas, and on a rota that includes weekends, evenings and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service at the checkout and assist customers at the tills.
• Process sales and handle click & collect orders.
• Set up displays and ensure the store looks inviting and well-presented.
• Maintain a tidy checkout area and assist with general store duties as required.
