Overview
Chartered Project Manager position for an MRICS professional taking independent responsibility for property and construction projects. The role is focused on project delivery, controls, consultant coordination and client reporting across multiple project stages. The Role
- Take ownership of project delivery from initial briefing through planning, procurement, construction, completion and formal close-out.
- Manage project programmes, budgets, risks and delivery requirements.
- Act as a direct client contact throughout project delivery.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary consultant teams, contractors and other project stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain project controls covering programme, cost, risk, quality and reporting.
- Prepare client reports and governance information to support commercial and delivery decisions.
- Manage project documentation and maintain clear records throughout each instruction.
- Support procurement strategy and coordinate the procurement process.
- Administer contracts and manage project changes in accordance with agreed appointments and procedures.
- Identify programme, cost and delivery risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
- Monitor consultant and contractor performance against agreed deliverables.
- Maintain delivery against agreed commercial, quality and compliance requirements.
- Take responsibility for individual instructions without requiring day-to-day delivery supervision.
- Report project performance, emerging risks and required decisions to clients and senior consultancy stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements
- Degree in a relevant property, construction or project management discipline.
- MRICS chartered status.
- Consultancy-side project management experience.
- Experience delivering property or construction projects across multiple lifecycle stages.
- Ability to take independent ownership of project instructions.
- Experience managing programmes, budgets, procurement processes and project risk.
- Experience coordinating consultants, contractors and wider project stakeholders.
- Strong client-facing experience, including formal reporting and project governance.
- Working knowledge of contract administration and project change procedures.
- Commercial judgement covering project risk, cost, programme and delivery decisions.
