Job summary

Dalcour Maclaren is seeking a Chartered Planner to deliver environmental planning services, including feasibility assessments, screening, scoping and coordination of planning activities in line with UK planning and environmental policy. You will prepare planning applications, supporting statements and technical reports to ensure high-quality outputs for clients and regulators.

Qualifications

• Must hold a planning degree and be working towards RTPI accreditation or have achieved it.
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver environmental planning services, including feasibility assessments, screening, scoping and coordination of planning activities.
• Prepare planning applications, supporting statements and technical reports to meet client and regulatory requirements.
• Support infrastructure projects across utilities and infrastructure sectors, including development appraisals and consent strategies.
• Liaise with client teams, technical specialists and Local Authority planning officers, attending meetings and site visits.
