The organisation is known for its holistic, person-centred approach, and its commitment to environmental stewardship and ethical farming. Their close-knit team of dedicated staff and volunteers is guided by values of courage, opportunity-seeking, collaboration, and doing the right thing.

As a Trustee, you will:

  • Provide strategic leadership and governance, ensuring the charity pursues its mission and complies with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Apply your financial acumen to help secure the organisation’s long-term sustainability, optimise resources, and support ambitious plans for growth and impact.
  • Collaborate with a diverse Board and Senior Management Team, contributing your expertise to key decisions, risk management, and performance evaluation.
  • Champion the rights and well-being of people with learning disabilities, helping to shape an inclusive society where anything is possible.

What You’ll Gain

  • The chance to shape the future of a pioneering charity with deep roots in its community.
  • Professional development in governance and leadership, and the opportunity to broaden your network.
