An established community organization is seeking dedicated Trustees to support the financial management of local Scout groups. This role involves overseeing budgets, managing payments, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. You will collaborate with a dynamic team to enhance the experiences of young people in Scouts. No prior Trustee experience is necessary, as training and support will be provided. Join us in making a positive impact in your community while developing your skills in financial oversight and team collaboration.
We’re looking for safe pairs of hands, ‘i’ dotters and ‘t’ crossers. Sound like you? As a Trustee, you’ll be part of a dynamic team working together to make Scouts operate like a well-oiled machine. From managing money to checking meeting places are in tip-top condition, you’ll make sure everything is set up properly, so that young people have the best experience in Scouts. Trustees see the big picture, make decisions and work together. As a team, you’ll ensure that everything’s being done safely and legally, as well as connecting Scouts with your local community. Oh, and it’s fine if you’ve not been a Trustee before. We’ll support you, making sure you learn everything you need to know, as you go.
