Job summary

Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity Eden Centre shop in High Wycombe is seeking a part-time shop staff member to work 16 hours across 2 days, including weekends and late-night openings before Christmas. The role involves supporting the Shop Manager and volunteers to maximise sales while promoting Gift Aid and the Hospice Lottery.

You will help uphold the charity’s values, supervise volunteers when needed, and contribute to maintaining excellent customer service in a friendly, community-focused

Qualifications

• Experience of working as part of a team in charity or fashion retail.
• Experience of working to achieve sales targets in a customer facing environment.
• Physically fit and able to lift and carry large quantities of donations daily.
• Demonstrable positive, solution-focused, ‘can-do’ attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support the Shop Manager and Assistant Manager to deliver an excellent retail offer for the local community.
• Work additional days as required (holiday cover, sickness) when possible.
• Assist in achieving agreed income targets – sales, Gift Aid and Hospice Lottery.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service at all times.
