Willen Hospice in Northamptonshire is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to support the Shop Manager in Oxley Park. This fixed-term 9-month role involves supervising volunteers, driving sales, and ensuring excellent customer service in a busy charity shop.

You will assist with stock, pricing, and merchandising, manage rotas, cash handling, and daily shop operations, while upholding health and safety standards and charity procedures.

Competenze

• Experience in a retail environment with supervisory responsibility.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Confident handling money, stock, and shop operations.
• Able to lead volunteers and roster shifts in a busy shop.

• Assist in daily shop operation to meet sales targets and KPIs.
• Support stock processing, pricing, and merchandising; maintain a tidy shop.
• Provide high standards of customer service at all times.
• Supervise and recruit/train volunteers; coordinate schedule and tasks.
• Manage rotas and delegate tasks with the Shop Manager.
• Handle cash, banking, and financial records per charity procedures.
• Act as key holder; open/close shop and assist in Manager's absence.
• Ensure health, safety, and security policies are followed.
• Promote Willen Hospice values and fundraising in the community.
