Job summary

The British Heart Foundation in Newry is hiring a Sales Assistant on a part-time 21-hour week, on a three-month fixed-term contract. You’ll be at the heart of our busy clothing stores, delivering a first-class customer service experience and contributing to the shop’s day-to-day running.

Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays is essential, and you may be asked to lift large donations and support both tills and stock merchandise.

Qualifications

• Past retail experience isn’t essential; passion and customer service matter.
• Confident working in a team and guiding volunteers.
• Able to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota.

Responsibilities

• Deliver first-class customer service and promote our mission.
• Merchandise stock and assist with donations.
• Collaborate with our E-Commerce team to maximise online sales.
• Act as Keyholder when there isn’t a manager on duty.
