Job summary

Crowe is recruiting an Audit Senior Associate to lead on-site audits for a range of charity and non-profit organisations across the sector. You will manage audit teams, plan and execute engagements, and deliver high‑quality reports to client management and audit committees.

The role offers opportunities to develop within a supportive team, with exposure to partner supervision and active involvement in proposals for new work in the non-profit space.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA, ICAS or ACCA.
• A good working knowledge of Excel and Word.
• Strong technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards.
• Knowledge and experience of Charity audits and the Non‑Profits sector, including the Charities SORP is an advantage, although not essential.
• A wider interest in the Non‑Profits sector.

Responsibilities

• Run on-site audits and lead the audit team under manager supervision.
• Manage the audit process to ensure high quality audits.
• Prepare draft reports for senior client management and Audit Committees/Boards.
• Highlight issues and provide potential solutions; ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Lead on-site client engagement and supervise junior team members.
• Work to tight deadlines and contribute to proposals and presentations for new work.
