Job summary

NHS Ayrshire & Arran is seeking an experienced Band 6 Charge Nurse to join Ward 1, Stroke Rehabilitation Unit at Glenrothes Hospital. You will lead the ward alongside the Senior Charge Nurse, delivering safe, person-centred care and coordinating multidisciplinary input.

You will drive clinical governance, mentor junior staff and contribute to service development within our integrated Stroke and Neurological Rehabilitation Service. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support day-to-day ward management.
• Ensure high standards of clinical care and patient safety.
• Develop staff and support the multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute to quality improvement and ongoing service development.
