Junior Sister/Charge Nurse - Stroke Services in the NHS context provides holistic assessment and evidence-based nursing care to stroke patients, aiming for their best potential and recovery.

Responsabilidades

• Provide holistic assessment and evidence-based nursing care to stroke patients to enable them to achieve their best potential.
• Demonstrate stroke knowledge to educate patients regarding healthier lifestyles, blood pressure management and psychological support.
• Supervising/supporting the Band 3 Rehabilitation Assistants and working within an interdisciplinary team.
• Contribute to the development and evaluation of the nursing service.
• Act as a source of expertise on stroke patients management.
• Liaising with GPs, Stroke Consultants and Third Parties.
• Maintain accurate comprehensive and contemporaneous documentation/patient records in line with legal requirements and Trust guidelines including personally generated clinical observations requiring computer skills.
