The shift pattern for this position is Monday to Friday.
We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Charge Nurse in Ward B8 Day Unit at the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre. As a vital part of our team, you will deliver high-quality, effective patient care. The role includes managing a varied caseload, including caring for patients receiving Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapies and patients at different stages of their cancer journey, providing opportunities for professional development.
In the absence of the Senior Charge Nurse, the post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the ward.
Experience in an oncology healthcare setting is desirable but not essential. Candidates must hold an NMC registration. This area cares for patients receiving chemotherapy for cancer. Good interpersonal, writing, and numeracy skills are essential.
