We seek aspiring leaders and clinically credible nurses to join our Suffolk team as a Charge Nurse on Abbeygate Ward, a 17-bed admission ward for assessment and treatment of mental health conditions.
This role offers opportunities to develop leadership skills and advance your nursing career.
We welcome registered nurses with expertise in older people's mental health, or from other mental health backgrounds, who are motivated, interpersonal, resilient, and enthusiastic about working with acutely unwell adults and their families.
Training opportunities are provided to support your development.
You will develop your skills through leadership courses, mentorship, and formal qualifications. The environment can be challenging, requiring clinicians with positivity, compassion, resilience, and a collaborative, reflective approach to power and systemic issues.

The role requires full PMA fitness (training provided) and shift work including nights and weekends over a 7-day period.
