Job summary

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Change Manager for a South Yorkshire ERP transformation project. You will lead the change agenda, engaging stakeholders, shaping communications, and ensuring readiness across functions. This 9-month contract may extend to 18 months with on-site delivery and an immediate start.

The role requires strong experience in ERP change, proven methodologies (Prosci/ADKAR), and a track record of influencing leaders. On-site 3–4 days per week with parking is provided.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the change management strategy for the ERP programme.
• Conduct stakeholder mapping and impact assessments.
• Design and deliver communication plans across multiple business functions.
• Lead business readiness activities.
• Work closely with the Process Architect and programme team to align change and process design.
• Identify and mitigate change-related risks.
• Establish and manage a network of change champions.
• Support training strategy development in partnership with functional leads.
• Measure adoption and readiness metrics pre- and post-go-live.

We are looking for candidates with:

• Proven experience leading change within ERP or enterprise transformation programmes.
• Strong knowledge of change methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR, or similar).
• Experience working in SME environments.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to influence and coach leaders at multiple levels.
• Experience managing resistance and embedding behavioural change.

Desirable

• Formal Change Management certification.
• Experience within manufacturing, distribution, or operational SMEs.
• Exposure to high-growth or scaling organisations.
