A leading infrastructure solutions company in the UK is seeking a team member to manage risks and compensation events for the HS2 Rail Systems Mechanical and Electrical Contract. This role requires strong experience with NEC processes and a relevant degree. The successful candidate will support early warning and change management.

We are looking for a team member who will manage the opportunities, risk and compensation events that are identified on the HS2 Rail Systems Mechanical and Electrical Contract. The role will initially be project focused but as the Rail Systems Alliance evolves the role will also evolve to be responsible for the management of the change, risks and opportunities that come from and can be gained from Costain's role in the HS2 Rail Systems Alliance. You will support the early warning and change management process on the project. This role reports to the Commercial Lead for the Costain + HS2 M&E team.
The role will work on the HS2 project. HS2 is the UK's new high speed rail network. It will be a catalyst for economic growth across Britain, freeing up space on the existing railways and connecting 8 out of the UK's 10 biggest cities with fast, reliable and frequent high speed services.
Costain + are delivering the HS2 Rail Systems Tunnel and Lineside Mechanical and Electrical Systems works for HS2, across the whole of the HS2 Route. The scope of the Mechanical and Electrical systems includes the installation of the construction and permanent tunnel ventilation, systems, lighting and electrical networks, fire main and other key safety elements. The value of the scheme at award is £500m.
